Now the reason you’re able to save over £200 on this flight is down to the flight routing, using what’s known in the industry as “open-jaw”. The actual ticket is set from Copenhagen > Los Angeles > London. Now I’ve taken the trouble to include a flight over to Copenhagen in the morning of your US bound flight, bringing the grand total to just £314.
The sample dates i’ve used here are departing on Saturday 7th November and returning Tuesday November 17th.
First of all your US flights. Bookable on Opodo, you can pick these up for just £290. Another point to note is that you can book flights on airlines through their partners. Before I’m bombarded with queries, Santa Ana John Wayne airport is actually located close to LA, roughly a 30 minute drive, so no real difference to LAX, and certainly acceptable for the savings. You can get here easily and cheaply on the local bus or train. I’d also like to point out that this deal is for those wanting the cheapest possible option on reputable airlines, there is of course some waiting between flights involved here so be prepared for this.
Your flight from London > Copenhagen
Book your flight from London > Copenhagen from just £25. I’ve got you a few options so you can take your pick, but your cheapest will be the first, from Luton.
Or to fly from the same airport that you return to use SAS. It’s also worth noting that SAS will include hold luggage and a free tea/coffee on the flight. Top tip! Also, a little known travel secret for you, if you do want to travel SAS and you’re under 26 you can book a special youth fare, which will give you the cheapest flight price even at peak times.
